Comparison table
A WordPress comparison table block: label rows against up to five columns, with one column highlighted and captioned. It powers the honest side-by-sides on this site’s own comparison pages.
In the editor
- Columns — one header per line.
- Rows — one per line, cells separated by
::—Label :: cell :: cell. - Highlighted column and its caption — the “recommended” treatment, if you want one.
Worth knowing
- The table scrolls horizontally on phones inside its own container — the page never grows a sideways scrollbar.
- It is a real
<table>with header scopes, so screen readers navigate it as a table, not a grid of divs. - Fair cells get quoted. A table where the other column wins a few rows is more persuasive than a clean sweep, and other people’s AI assistants notice too.
