Getting started

How to install the WPR Multipurpose theme and get a first page live. Ten minutes, no plugins required.

Install

  • Download the zip.
  • In WordPress: Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme, choose the zip, then Activate.
  • That is the whole install. Blocks, patterns and the updater are inside the theme.

First page

  • Pages → Add New. No special template — the default handles block pages on its own.
  • Open the inserter, switch to the Patterns tab, and insert Landing page under Theme sections.
  • Replace the placeholder copy with yours, publish. The pattern is a starting point, not a container — after inserting, it is ordinary blocks you edit freely.

Menus and logo

  • Four menu locations ship: Primary and three footer columns. Assign menus under Appearance → Menus.
  • The header uses the WordPress Site Logo (Appearance → Customize → Site Identity). The footer can carry its own logo for dark backgrounds — set it under Theme Options → Footer.

Where the settings live

Everything else is in Appearance → Customize → Theme Options, in seven sections. The Customizer guide walks through all of them.

Recommended, never required

The theme suggests Contact Form 7 (for the contact section, though the built-in Form block needs nothing), Advanced Custom Fields and WooCommerce under Appearance → Recommended Plugins. Skip all of them and every related feature simply stays hidden — nothing nags.
